Alistair Tebbit, Head of Media Communications

Alistair runs the IoD's press office and is responsible for ensuring that the IoD's views on a range of public issues are heard in the media. Prior to joining the IoD in June 2008, Alistair worked for the think tank Open Europe, and before that for a Conservative Party research unit based in the House of Commons. He has also worked as an auditor for Deloitte and Touche in Jersey. Alistair read medieval history at St Andrews University. He has an MA from Durham University and a PhD from Bristol University where he taught for two years.
